MASTERPLAN DESIGN CONCEPT
3000 Alexis Dr, Palo Alto, CA 94304, United States
Warrane collaboratively delivered a Concept Masterplan for the reimagining of Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club, earning overwhelming member support with 82% voting in favour. The plan redefines the clubhouse experience, balancing tradition with modern comfort through thoughtful spatial planning and elevated hospitality design.
Starting with a strategic review of member needs, the project evolved into a comprehensive interior design refresh. In collaboration with the Long-Range Planning Committee, General Manager David Conforti, and international architects, key spaces – including the Starters Lounge, Pro Shop, and Main Bar – have been redesigned to enhance connection, flow, and belonging. Refined finishes and curated materials establish a contemporary identity while respecting the club’s heritage.
The masterplan focuses on how members gather, host, and unwind. Improved circulation, clearly defined hospitality zones, and a flexible function room support events of every scale. Features such as private dining, a wine cellar, and a virtual golf simulator elevate social and hospitality offerings, ensuring the clubhouse meets contemporary expectations while celebrating tradition.
Internationally recognised architect Martin Lee contributed his global expertise, aligning the architectural narrative with the club’s long-term strategic vision. Together, the team shaped a foundation that enhances dining, lounge, and amenity spaces, creating a clubhouse that is both functional and inspiring.
“A business that delivers visions.”
