Hornsby Inn
Just a short walking distance from Hornsby Westfield sits Hornsby Inn, which has had its place since the mid 1960s. Warrane have recently had the exciting opportunity to team with Haps Hotels to bring a fresh look to the bistro and outdoor deck area, which now features classic and in-house custom-made furniture, warm timber panelling and vivid carpets.
The next stage of works to the Hornsby Inn will see the pub brandishing a facelift to its facade. A recent request from Hornsby Shire Council has provided an opportune moment for us to collaborate with Haps Hotels once again to upgrade the pub’s facade treatment, promotional signage, as well as a new feature fire staircase seamlessly integrated into the facade which will showcase timber and metal batten screening, heritage hand-painted tiles and whitewashed brick; the classic capping tiles in particular provide a nod to the history of Hornsby Inn in its former glory days.
Vintage posters and styling peppered within the space have added an extra layer to the overall ambience of the pub, reminding those visiting of the heritage and story woven into this Aussie pub.
Accompanying this finetune to the pub’s facade is a freshened look of Hornsby Inn’s marketing and branding, namely its logo and promotional material for its VIP Lounge.
Drawing on the 19th century elements in its original logos, the new branding provides a modernized twist, bearing geometrical, strong shapes that emphasise the significance of this landmark in Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
“A business that delivers visions.”
