The Railway Hotel is one of Armidale’s oldest pubs, serving the local community for over 130 years. The Building has been closely associated with the Railway Station over the last 100 years, gaining local heritage significance. Warrane cautiously installed an abstract train carriage into the heritage hotel to ensure the contemporary addition meshed well with all heritage aspects. 

When designing the refurbishments, careful considerations were made to ensure all refurbisments would streamline opertions and result in a more cost effective running of the business. As a result, the designs included an enhanced bistro, beer garden, toilets, bar/bottleshop and improved parking.
