Located in the heart of Stanmore, Sydney, The Salisbury Hotel engaged Warrane to refurbish and rejuvenate the upstairs of the hotel and transform the space into quality short term accommodation.

Warrane developed the concept designs and implemented the refurbishment in a constricted time frame. Whilst quality craftsmanship was key, keeping with the 100-year-old heritage design was paramount. This included keeping with the heritage high ceilings and refined material pallet. 

Warrane’s design and refurbishment included 20 rooms, eight bathrooms and a shared kitchen and laundry designed for short term accommodation. All refurbishments were undertaken whilst the ground floor pub remained fully operation.

Prior to the renovation, the upstairs areas had not been utilised for over 40 years. Once complete, the accommodation made the pub feel truly complete, tying in the downstairs area with accommodation upstairs.
